The Philippine government has integrated artificial intelligence into the eGovPH Super App through the newly launched eGov AI module.
Cabinet Secretary Benhur Abalos urged Filipinos and government workers to use AI ethically and responsibly, emphasizing that technology should support rather than replace human judgment.
The built-in assistant, “Kuya A,” can help users with document extraction, image identification, translation, form assistance and access to official government guidelines.
The feature is expected to benefit more than 61 million registered eGovPH users and is available free of charge without requiring separate AI subscriptions.
The Department of Information and Communications Technology said the launch marks Phase 1 of its national plan to integrate AI into public assistance and reduce manual administrative processes.
