The Philippine government is closely monitoring the situation of Filipinos in Iran following deadly protests in the country.
The DFA, through its embassy in Tehran, said around 800 Filipinos are in the country, and none have been reported affected so far.
The unrest, triggered by worsening economic conditions, has left three dead and at least 17 injured.
Filipinos in Iran are advised to avoid unnecessary movements, especially in crowded areas.
Those needing assistance can contact the embassy via email or emergency mobile numbers provided by the DFA.
