Coco Martin revealed that he turned down a lucrative offer to endorse an online gambling company, saying it did not align with his personal values and beliefs.
The actor said he prefers to promote hard work and perseverance rather than associating success with luck or gambling.
According to Martin, the company later returned with an even bigger offer, but he still declined after discussing the matter with his partner and manager.
He said he was concerned about the potential negative impact of gambling on people’s lives, having seen individuals struggle because of it.
While clarifying that he is not against gambling, Martin emphasized that his decision was based on his personal principles and sense of responsibility.
