A total of 420 members of Malabon City’s Special Tanod Task Force received P3,000 each in allowances covering the first and second quarters of 2026.
The city government said 20 community watchmen from each of the 21 barangays received P1,500 per quarter.
The allowance distribution was facilitated by the Community Urban Poor Affairs Office.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said the watchmen play an important role in maintaining peace and order and addressing community concerns.
She added that the city government recognizes and supports their service to Malabon residents.
