TRABAHO Party-list held its third Serbisyong Pang-TRABAHO job fair at Malabon Citisquare Mall on January 24, providing employment opportunities to around 1,000 jobseekers from Malabon and nearby areas.
Congresswoman Johanne Bautista said the program goes beyond job placements by offering livelihood programs, skills training, and a one-stop shop for employment requirements and benefits.
The event also raised awareness about employment scams, with supervision from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) ensuring all participating employers are legitimate.
Jobseekers were offered additional support, including fees for required government clearances, free résumé printing, photocopying, and photo services.
Celebrity advocate Melai Cantiveros-Francisco joined the initiative, which follows previous iterations held in Caloocan and Navotas last year.
