TRABAHO Party-List will bring 12,815 local and overseas job vacancies to jobseekers in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna and Caloocan City this weekend amid the country’s unemployment concerns.
The initiative follows a Philippine Statistics Authority report showing 3.14 million unemployed Filipinos in July, equivalent to a 6 percent unemployment rate.
Its Serbisyong Pang-TRABAHO caravan will offer jobs, livelihood grants, skills training, internships, and access to more than 300 partner employers.
The caravan will also provide one-stop-shop government services and pre-employment assistance grants to applicants hired on the spot.
TRABAHO Party-List Rep. Johanne Bautista is also pushing the Trabaho Center Bill to establish permanent job-matching and employment facilitation hubs in local governments, state universities and colleges, and public senior high schools nationwide.
