Taylor Swift has announced “Patient Zero,” her first new song since marrying Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce this summer, with the track set for release Friday.
Swift revealed the song after a cryptic countdown appeared on her website, prompting fans to decode clues hidden in her social media updates.
The singer’s website now features three limited-edition CD versions of the track, including acoustic and piano renditions, priced at $3.99 each.
The announcement comes ahead of Sunday’s MTV VMAs, where Swift will receive the inaugural Artist Director Honors and has nine nominations.
Swift’s latest release also follows her mysterious appearance in a pretaped “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” skit at the 2026 Emmys, which sparked further speculation among fans.
