SM Supermalls and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will hold simultaneous Araw ng Kalayaan Job Fairs in 20 malls nationwide on June 12 to provide employment opportunities to thousands of Filipinos.
The initiative is part of their long-standing partnership, which has already mounted 66 job fairs this year, serving more than 57,000 job seekers and resulting in over 6,000 hired-on-the-spot applicants.
In addition to job openings, the fairs will offer skills development opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and data analytics.
Government agencies will also provide one-stop support services to help applicants complete employment requirements more efficiently.
Organizers said the program aims to expand access to jobs, enhance workforce skills, and support national development through stronger public-private sector collaboration.
