MARCOS SAYS P19 BILLION ALLOTTED FOR TESDA SCHOLARSHIPS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said nearly P19 billion has been allotted for TESDA scholarship programs this year, the agency’s largest budget to date.

He said the funding will help more Filipinos gain skills and improve their job opportunities.

Some 1,150 TESDA scholars in Ilocos Norte graduated from National Certification II programs in dressmaking and bartending.

Marcos also highlighted programs that align training with industry needs and make skills education more accessible.

He said investing in Filipino skills will help strengthen families, the economy, and the country’s future.
