Senator Sherwin Gatchalian denied any involvement in a recent incident where a vehicle illegally used the EDSA busway with a fake protocol plate linked to him. The senator clarified that he never lent his official plate to anyone, and the vehicle in question was registered to Orient Pacific Corporation, unrelated to him. Gatchalian’s office emphasized that the senator did not own the SUV or the fake plate. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is investigating the origins of the fabricated plate.
