The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has reopened rehabilitated sections of the EDSA busway from Roxas Boulevard in Pasay to Orense in Makati.
Officials from the DPWH, Department of Transportation, and MMDA inspected the repaired lanes, including asphalt overlays and concrete reblocking.
The inspection was led by DPWH-NCR director Joel Limpengco and MMDA general manager Nicolas Torre III.
To reduce traffic disruption, ongoing repair work on EDSA will now be conducted from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. during non-peak hours.
Commuters can now use the reopened busway lanes as repair efforts continue at night.
