The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has deployed thousands of relief supplies and patient transport vehicles to communities affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Southern Mindanao.
Working with the Office of Civil Defense and the Philippine Air Force, the agency airlifted food packs, medicine kits, and evacuation supplies to General Santos City and Sarangani.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles said the agency responded within 24 hours of the disaster through its Authorized Agent Corporations.
Additional ambulance vans were also dispatched to several Mindanao provinces to strengthen emergency response efforts.
The relief operation aims to support both immediate needs and longer-term recovery of displaced families.
