The Philippines will host European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas for an official visit from June 1 to 2.
This marks her first visit to the country since her appointment in December.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, the visit signifies a key milestone in PH-EU diplomatic ties, underscoring a mutual commitment to political dialogue and cooperation.
Kallas is scheduled to meet with Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo to discuss strengthening bilateral relations amid regional and global challenges.
She will also hold meetings with other senior Philippine government officials.
