Jacob Helberg will visit the Philippines from Monday to Thursday to discuss economic development initiatives and strengthen cooperation under the Pax Silica partnership.
The US-led multilateral initiative aims to secure resilient supply chains for artificial intelligence, advanced computing, semiconductors, and critical minerals.
During his visit, Helberg is expected to meet with government officials, private sector leaders, and representatives from ASEAN member-states.
The trip follows the Philippines’ recent signing of the Pax Silica Declaration, making it the 13th member of the partnership alongside countries including the US, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Helberg will also visit the planned Economic Security Zone in the Philippines, a proposed 4,000-acre industrial hub intended to boost production critical to global supply chains and support the Luzon Economic Corridor.
