Enrique Gil said he stepped back from the spotlight in recent years due to burnout and the pandemic, which gave him time to rest and focus on family.
He described the break as a “blessing in disguise” that helped him reset his priorities and spend more meaningful time with loved ones.
During this period, he also built Slingshot Studios, his production company, which allowed him to take on roles as both actor and producer in several film projects.
Gil is now returning to television with “A Secret in Prague,” a series he says is designed to bring “happy vibes” and light, feel-good storytelling to viewers.
The show, which features a star-studded cast and premieres on April 27, marks his return to primetime with a focus on family, comedy, and emotional warmth.
