Dingdong Dantes is set to return to primetime television through “The Master Cutter,” an action-drama series where he plays Anthony “Atoy” Padua, a former Scout Ranger who becomes a tailor and a secret tracker-for-hire.
The story follows Atoy as he helps solve cases and find missing persons while living a double life behind various disguises.
Beyond action and suspense, the series explores themes of identity, healing, and family relationships, particularly Atoy’s struggle with personal loss and reconnection with his father.
Dingdong said the role allowed him to explore different characters and highlighted the show’s emotional core about finding oneself.
The series also stars Paolo Contis and a large ensemble cast, and it premieres on May 11 at 8:15 PM on GMA Network Prime.
