The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has scheduled a raffle for party-list organizations to determine their order on the official ballot for the 2025 National and Local Elections on October 18.
The raffle will take place at 9 a.m. at the Palacio del Gobernador Bldg. in Manila and will be streamed live.
Both existing and newly registered party-list groups are eligible to participate, and the order will be established through an electronic raffle led by the Clerk of the Commission.
All necessary equipment and software for the raffle will be demonstrated to the participants beforehand, and no appeals or motions for reconsideration will be accepted after the raffle.
Additionally, Comelec proclaimed the Akbayan Citizens Action Party as a winner in the 2022 party-list polls, allowing its nominee, Percival V. Cendaña, to assume office before Congress resumes in November.
