The Comelec has labeled 47 individuals as nuisance candidates for the 2025 senatorial race. Out of 183 candidates, the commission will decide on their official status, particularly for those deemed to have filed with disruptive intent or without serious intentions to run. Comelec Chairman George Garcia aims to finalize all nuisance candidate petitions by November’s end to ensure smooth election preparations.
