Quezon City has been recognized by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) for its programs promoting equal and inclusive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
The city was declared a champion in the Disability-Inclusive Employment Program category at the NCDA Partners Awards held on December 1.
In 2023, Quezon City launched the “Kasama Ka sa Kyusi” program, which provided jobs and opportunities for hundreds of residents with disabilities.
The initiative highlights the city’s commitment to creating a more inclusive workforce.
Local officials emphasized that such programs are vital in ensuring equal access to employment for all citizens.
