Acting PNP Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. visited the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in Silang, Cavite, to review initiatives aimed at strengthening cadet training and faculty capabilities.
PNPA officials, led by Director Police Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon presented proposals to modernize the academy’s educational system.
Nartatez stressed the need for police to adapt to evolving crimes and technological advancements, saying law enforcement must stay ahead of emerging threats.
He highlighted the importance of enhancing cybercrime defenses and improving overall police presence and response.
The acting chief also emphasized equipping cadets with modern policing strategies and assured support for all training centers preparing future police officers.
