Team Philippines continued its strong campaign in the 6th Asian Beach Games, highlighted by a silver medal finish in the women’s 4×60-meter beach athletics relay.
The quartet of Jessica Rose Laurance, Shane Joy Ponce, Lianne Diana Pama, and Olympian Kristina Marie Knott placed second, adding to Laurance’s earlier bronze medal.
The Philippines remained in third place overall in the medal standings with three gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
In beach volleyball, both Alas Pilipinas women’s pairs advanced to the quarterfinals after a convincing win over Sri Lanka in the Round of 16.
