The dispute among the children of late National Artist Nora Aunor has intensified after Ian De Leon and Lotlot De Leon publicly exchanged conflicting claims over the management of their mother’s estate and legacy.
Ian said he established a One Person Corporation to oversee Nora Aunor’s business ventures and plans for a foundation, insisting his siblings had been informed and that the initiative was meant to protect their mother’s name.
Lotlot, however, denied being consulted about the corporation, rejected Ian’s claims, and said her own efforts to establish a foundation honoring Nora had been undermined despite his earlier support.
Ian later responded on social media, denying that he intended to exclude his siblings and maintaining that the estate would be divided equally while raising concerns about the foundation’s registration and fundraising.
The public disagreement has renewed attention on the late screen icon’s legacy as her family remains divided over how her estate and charitable initiatives should be managed.
