On Saturday, about 450 regular troops and reservists are concluding a week-long Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) at the Naval Station Romulo Espaldon.
Rear Admiral Francisco Tagamolila Jr. emphasized that the training is vital for ensuring the readiness of the Philippine Navy Reserve Force, enhancing their integration into maritime security operations and other naval missions.
The exercise began on September 9 and included simulations of amphibious operations and at-sea events to transition from preparation to action.
Captain Hilarion Cesista highlighted the exercise’s role in assessing operational readiness and interoperability between reserve and regular forces.
The MOBEX 2024 involves 300 regular naval forces and 150 reservists from various regions, under the direction of key naval officials including Captain Jasper Adrales.
