DIGIPLUS FOUNDATION REACHES 24,000 VICTIMS OF HABAGAT IN LUZON

DigiPlus Foundation provided aid to more than 24,000 Filipinos affected by the southwest monsoon or habagat through five relief operations in Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Pampanga, and Bulacan from Aug. 27 to Sept. 22.

Through its BayanihanPlus program, the foundation distributed 3,500 relief packs and provided 1,600 rice packs to the Department of Social Welfare and Development to help families affected by prolonged rains and flooding.

The relief goods included rice, drinking water, and other essential supplies to address the immediate needs of affected communities.

Executive Director Angela Camins-Wieneke said the initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting Filipinos during times of crisis.

The foundation said it will continue working with government agencies, local governments, and partner organizations to help communities recover from disasters.
