The Century Tuna IRONMAN 70.3 Subic Bay triathlon on June 15 will feature a revamped course with modified bike and new run routes designed to challenge even veteran athletes.
The 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21km run will now include sharper turns, rolling elevations, and more exposed running paths to test racers’ stamina and strategy.
Race director Julian Valencia assured participants that enhanced safety measures, including additional medical personnel and better signage, have been put in place.
Elite competitors like Luigi Rodriguez and Reyea Briones are expected to battle fiercely for the overall titles, while relay teams and age-group categories add excitement to the event.
Complementing the race is the Badge Blitz competition for TriClubs and the IRONMAN “Warehouse Wipeout” sale, making it a full weekend of triathlon festivities.
