LPGT STANDOUTS FACE STRONG TAIWAN FIELD IN KENDA TIRE CUP

The Ladies Philippine Golf Tour’s top players will face a strong Taiwan LPGA Tour field in the Kenda Tire Cup, which starts September 23 at the Taichung International Country Club in Taiwan.

Seven of the TLPGA’s current top 10 players are competing in the NT$4-million, 54-hole tournament co-sanctioned by the LPGT and TLPGA.

Yvon Bisera leads the Philippine contingent, which includes Princess Superal, Marvi Monsalve, Sarah Ababa, Harmie Constantino, Kayla Nocum, Lois Kaye Go, and Mafy Singson, among others.

The Filipinas will also face the challenge of an unfamiliar course, with practice rounds offering a chance to study its layout and conditions.

The Philippines has not won a co-sanctioned LPGT-TLPGA event since 2018, adding motivation for local players against a field featuring several proven winners.
