The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has yet to set a date for livestreaming its hearings, nearly a month after its chairman promised public access.
ICI Chairperson Andres Reyes Jr. said on November 13 that the commission is still studying the matter and may provide an update next week.
He noted that livestreaming could depend on whether resource persons are comfortable appearing on camera.
The ICI has held all hearings behind closed doors since its creation on September 11 to investigate corruption in government infrastructure projects.
Despite public pressure for transparency, the commission has not announced a target date, though a hearing is scheduled for November 17.
