Police arrested four of Eastern Visayas’ most wanted suspects in separate manhunt operations during the All Saints’ Day observance, according to PRO-8. Three of the suspects face charges involving rape and sexual assault, including two ranked second and fourth on the regional most wanted list. The arrests were carried out in Leyte, Laguna, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar through coordinated police operations. The suspects are now under police custody for documentation before being turned over to the courts that issued their warrants. PRO-8 Director Brig. Gen. Romano Cardiño said intensified intelligence-driven operations will continue to apprehend wanted individuals.
