Miguel Tabuena and Angelo Que lead the local contingent as the International Series Philippines kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 23, at Sta. Elena Golf Club in Laguna.
Tabuena, a three-time Asian Tour winner, tees off alongside former world No. 1 Dustin Johnson and 2010 Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, hoping to capitalize on his familiarity with the course.
Que, a 46-year-old veteran with 19 professional titles, aims to build on his recent strong performance at the ADT Players Championship.
The tournament, offering a $2 million prize purse, marks the International Series’ debut in the Philippines and seeks to boost the country’s golf scene.
Other local players and international stars, such as Charl Schwartzel and Marc Leishman, also join the competition.
