The trophy will be contested by 10 countries starting December 9, with the Philippines aiming for its first title in this regional tournament. Coach Albert Capellas and players Misagh Bahadoran, Ali Borromeo, and Simone Rota joined the tour to increase local enthusiasm for the matches. The Philippines’ first game is on December 12 against Myanmar, with the tournament culminating on January 5.
