The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has warned the public against sharing or engaging with content that promotes rebellion or armed struggle.
The advisory emphasized that encouraging or glorifying armed action is punishable by law and endangers communities.

The AFP said posts promoting violence or attempts to overthrow the government will be addressed in coordination with law enforcement.
The statement stressed that actions will respect the rule of law and legal bounds on freedom of expression.
The warning follows a recent clash between government forces and communist rebels in Occidental Mindoro on New Year’s Day.
