The city of Malabon launched its “PuroKalusugan” program on August 30, providing over 500 residents with free medical services at St. Gregory Homes in Barangay Panghulo.
Led by Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, the program aims to improve access to preventive and essential healthcare, especially for residents in remote areas.
The city’s health department, in coordination with the Department of Health (DOH), offered services including consultations, x-rays, vaccinations, and screenings.
The initiative will focus on key health priorities like child immunization, nutrition, sanitation, and cancer prevention.
Additionally, the program complements Malabon’s “Mobile Jeannie Services,” which provides various services like water stations and disaster preparedness in local communities.
