The Commission on Elections (Comelec) hopes to proclaim the 12 winning senators by Friday, as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) continues the official canvassing of votes.
As of yesterday, 13 out of 30 Certificates of Canvass (COCs) had been processed, and Comelec Chairman George Garcia is optimistic that the full canvassing will be completed by Wednesday.
The NBOC will also finalize the results for party-list groups, with separate proclamations planned for senators and party-list winners.
Meanwhile, election watchdog PPCRV has received nearly 98% of the election returns, addressing earlier discrepancies in the data.
Senator Bong Go, leading the senatorial race, expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to serve the Filipino people with humility and dedication.
