WALK RUN & ROLL CHAMPIONS INCLUSIVE SPORTS WITH 5,000 PARTICIPANTS

Around 5,000 participants, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), joined the 2026 Walk Run & Roll at the University of the Philippines Diliman to promote inclusion through sports.

Organized by the Philippine Sports Commission in partnership with the National Council on Disability Affairs, the event featured 10K, 5K, 3K, and a special 1K race exclusively for PWDs.

PSC Commissioner Walter Torres said the activity highlighted equal opportunities and reaffirmed that sports should be accessible to all Filipinos.

PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio welcomed the strong turnout as a reflection of the commission’s commitment to inclusivity.

National athletes, para athletes, coaches, and sports officials also participated in the event, held in observance of National Disability Rights Week.
