Rioters clashed with police and set a trailer truck on fire on Ayala Bridge in Manila on September 21, the same day thousands gathered for anti-corruption protests at Rizal Park and the People Power Monument.
Videos showed masked individuals burning the truck’s tires to block police and throwing stones and bottles at officers.
The rioters appeared separate from the peaceful groups leading the main demonstrations.
Protesters in the clash shouted concerns about being forcibly entered and the suffering caused by recent floods.
The Manila Police District has not yet commented on the incident.
