Actor Sam Milby admitted he was surprised by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s revelation about their split, but chose to keep his comments private.
Gray explained that the breakup came after Milby realized he wasn’t ready to commit, despite their engagement, leaving her blindsided despite her efforts to make the relationship work.
The couple had confirmed their relationship in May 2020, got engaged in February 2023, and announced their separation in 2025.
Milby also shared that he is currently single, spending time with family and friends, and not actively dating.
He added that he remains open to love in the future but is taking a more relaxed and introspective approach to relationships.
