The Quezon City government announced it will prioritize low-income families living along the West Valley Fault and other high-risk zones in its next round of emergency go bag distribution.
Earlier, the city provided RESQC Bags to residents near waterways and fire-affected areas as part of its disaster preparedness initiative.
City officials emphasized that assistance is focused first on those most exposed to danger, urging residents to prepare their own go bags tailored to their needs.
Meanwhile, in Taguig City, Mayor Lani Cayetano led the house-to-house distribution of 1,248 emergency go bags in Centennial Village, Barangay Western Bicutan, focusing on medium to high-rise areas vulnerable to disasters.
The go bags, also distributed in 52 public schools and child centers, include first-aid kits, flashlights, whistles, and safety guides.
