More than 53,000 passengers passed through the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) on Saturday morning, five days before Christmas.
PITX recorded a total of 53,353 passengers as of 9 a.m., including both arrivals and departures from Metro Manila.
The previous day, the terminal handled 186,231 passengers as holiday travel picked up.
PITX expects over three million travelers during the holiday break, from December 19, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
To manage the surge, the terminal activated its Holiday Transport Plan, featuring enhanced security and expanded customer assistance to ensure safe and reliable trips.
