PhilHealth confirmed that the 21 essential medicines under the YAKAP program remain available this year at accredited primary care facilities nationwide.
Members can access these medicines at their chosen YAKAP clinics while PhilHealth works to improve benefits under the YAKAP and GAMOT programs.
The list includes common antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, cardiovascular and diabetes medications, and oral rehydration salts.
PhilHealth urged partner clinics to maintain sufficient stocks and follow service standards to ensure timely treatment and continuity of care.
The agency emphasized its commitment to improving service delivery and providing Filipinos with reliable access to essential medicines.
