President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Allan Vincent Lorenzo as the new Deputy Director General of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
Lorenzo, a senior partner at the Espino Valencia Pe Lim Nery Law Office, was part of Marcos’ legal team during the 2022 presidential elections.
His expertise spans various fields including land and marine transportation, telecommunications, local government, labor, and corporate law.
In addition to Lorenzo’s appointment, Marcos also renewed the terms of several Philippine ambassadors and appointed new officials at the Department of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies.
Notable appointments include Joel Joseph Marciano Jr. as the director general of the Philippine Space Agency and various others across different departments.
