Increased police presence along major roads and crowd areas helped maintain order.
No officers were involved in indiscriminate firing during the festivities.
Key countdown events in Bonifacio Global City, Ayala Avenue, and SM Mall of Asia were calm, with large crowds attending.
Police deployed over 2,000 officers to manage around 219,000 revelers across the three major sites.
