Sixteen governors from the Visayas region signed a manifesto on Thursday expressing their full support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his vision for national progress.
The signing took place during a unity lunch organized by Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia at the Cebu Provincial Capitol, where local leaders from various sectors also participated.
The manifesto highlighted the governors’ recognition of the Marcos administration’s achievements in national development, economic recovery, and regional growth.
The signatories included governors from several provinces across the Visayas, such as Aklan, Bohol, and Iloilo, among others.
The event also emphasized the push for the creation of the “One Visayas bloc,” a unified platform to address shared concerns and advocate for the region’s interests at the national level.
