In the latest Tugon ng Masa survey by OCTA Research, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s trust and performance ratings have surpassed those of Vice President Sara Duterte for the first time.
Marcos achieved a 71 percent trust rating, up 2 percentage points, while Duterte’s trust rating fell to 65 percent, down from 68 percent.
Marcos also led Duterte in performance ratings, with 68 percent of respondents satisfied with his performance compared to Duterte’s 60 percent.
The survey, conducted from June 30 to July 5, 2024, followed Duterte’s resignation as education secretary and marked her second consecutive quarter of declining ratings.
Senate President Francis Escudero and Speaker Martin Romualdez also saw increases in their ratings, while Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo’s ratings dropped.
