Consumers faced higher liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices starting September 1.
Petron and Solane increased their LPG rates by 55 centavos per kilogram, reflecting the international contract price for the month.
This change resulted in a P6.05 rise for an 11-kilogram household LPG tank.
Auto LPG prices also increased by 25 centavos per liter, marking the third consecutive month of increases.
An 11-kilogram cylinder is now priced between P840 and P1,087 in Metro Manila, while auto LPG averages P40.85 per liter.
