President Marcos urged investors to explore business opportunities in the Philippines during the launch of the Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair and the Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace, the country’s largest B2B e-commerce platform.
The initiative, led by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), aims to connect local enterprises with global institutional buyers to strengthen the local industry and attract foreign investment.
Marcos praised the platform for its potential to enhance market reach and improve supply chains through digital technology.
He emphasized that the Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace will empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by offering greater visibility for their products.
The President’s remarks highlight the government’s commitment to positioning the Philippines as a key investment destination.
