Barretto matriarch Inday Barretto, mother of actors Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine Barretto, has died at the age of 89.
Known in showbiz as Mommy Inday, she was also the grandmother to actress Julia Barretto.
Claudine Barretto expressed her grief on Instagram, posting heartfelt messages to her mother, while her brother JJ shared a lit candle on social media.
Claudine had revealed in 2024 that her mother was diagnosed with lupus and had been hospitalized.
The family has not disclosed the cause of her death or further details as of this report.
