Dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, linked to illegal Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGOs), claims she is a victim, not a mastermind, and is willing to reveal the “most guilty” parties in a Senate executive session.
During a hearing led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros, Sen. Joseph Victor Ejercito pressed Guo to name key figures behind POGO crimes.
Guo denied involvement, stating she was merely “helpful” and uninvolved in illegal activities.
Meanwhile, POGO executives, including Zun Yuan Technology’s treasurer “Alex,” claimed they were paid to remain silent about their roles and later received cash to go into hiding.
The Senate hearing continues, with expectations that Guo will name the masterminds behind the operations.
