First Lady Liza Marcos hosted a cocktail reception at Malacañang on Thursday to honor women ambassadors and the spouses of heads of diplomatic missions in the Philippines in celebration of National Women’s Month.
During the event at Kalayaan Hall, the First Lady expressed admiration for the women leaders, highlighting their strength, wisdom, and purpose.
She praised the female diplomats for representing not only their nations but also the aspirations of women worldwide.
A video shared by the First Lady showed the guests enjoying a dance and a tour of the Palace.
In his International Women’s Day message, President Marcos also reaffirmed his commitment to advancing women’s rights, acknowledging their vital contributions to the nation’s progress.
