Actor Jake Ejercito set a new personal record at the 2026 Osaka Marathon, completing the 42-kilometer race in 3:38:20.
He maintained an average pace of 5:10 per kilometer, according to his Strava app.
Ejercito admitted in an Instagram post that fatigue hit him late in the race, but he pushed through to achieve the personal best.
Photos showed him running through Osaka, sometimes with fellow Filipinos, wearing a bracelet dedicated to his daughter, Ellie.
The actor, who previously ran half-marathons and the Chicago Marathon last year, received congratulations from fellow celebrities including Donny Pangilinan and Jameson Blake.
