Senator Erwin Tulfo on Saturday said the majority bloc plans to propose amendments to the Blue Ribbon Committee’s draft report on alleged flood control anomalies, noting that a key individual was omitted.
Tulfo did not specify who was left out, but stressed the matter should be discussed in plenary, so all questions can be addressed.
A leaked partial report had recommended plunder and other charges against senators Escudero, Villanueva, Estrada, and former Rep. Zaldy Co.
Tulfo said he has not fully read the draft but intends to sign it “with amendments” to strengthen its wording and include missing concerns.
He added that around 11 to 12 colleagues support these amendments, and discussions in plenary will ensure all voices are heard before the report’s adoption.
